IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PATIENTS!
We have had a new telephone system installed, please see the below options should you need to contact the surgery.

For Prescriptions Call POD on 0300 123 6242
Patients are no longer able to make medication requests via post, phone or in person at the surgery.
Instead you can now order repeat medication from the comfort of your own home by calling POD on 0300 123 6242 Monday – Friday 0900 - 1700, please order your repeat prescriptions at least 7 days before you need them.
It will then take time for the pharmacy to prepare your medication and this may vary depending on the pharmacy you use – you will need to ask them for the details.

Alternatively you can register for online access and once registered you will be provided with a Username and Password which will enable you to order your repeat medication online by visiting: https://systmonline.tpp-uk.com. Please be aware the online service requires prior registration.

Patients who fall into any of the below categories are EXEMPT from using POD and Systmonline. They can continue to send prescription requests to the surgery or nominated pharmacy;
- Patients who receive post-dated prescriptions
- Patients who have their medication in a Dosette Box
- Patients who reside in a nursing home
- Patients who are deaf or hard of hearing
Do you struggle to attend GP or nurse appointments during the working week?
Wiltshire patients can now arrange to be seen 18:30-20:00 Monday-Wednesday Friday, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
Practices across West Wiltshire are working together to provide this additional capacity.
For Giffords and Spa Medical Centre patients: Monday to Wednesday evenings will be provided at Giffords Surgery, with Friday evening and Saturday mornings being provided from one of three hubs in rotation (Giffords Surgery in Melksham, Trowbridge Health Centre or Westbury Group Practice. Sunday mornings will be provided from Southbroom Surgery in Devizes.
To book one of these appointments, please contact your registered Surgery during normal opening hours. A small number of appointments will be available via 111 outside of normal hours.
You will need to give consent for your medical information to be shared between providers to use this service.
This is aimed at those patients who are unable to access daytime medical care during the week, and we anticipate that demand may be high, so please bear with us, particularly in this pilot phase.
