Surgery Facilities


Giffords Surgery has a car park at the side of the building (Turn left before entering Melksham Community Hospital). Parking is reserved for patients only while attending the surgery.  Patients are reminded that parking in the Medical Centre is at their own risk. There is disabled parking near the main entrance, please ensure these spaces are left for disabled patients only.

  We also have a drinking water cooler in the main reception area should you wish to use it.


Facilities for the disabled

Access to the Medical Centre is through the main entrance by pressing the disabled access buttons which on each ot the hand rails. A disabled patient’s toilet is provided on both the ground and first floors.  The second floor is accessible by a lift.  

There is access to a wheelchair in the surgery for the frail and elderly should they wish to receive assistance.  There is also an induction loop for the hard of hearing at main reception.
