Carers
A carer is someone who is looking after a relative or friend who,because of a disability, illness or the effect of old age, cannot manageat home without help. A carer may care for a few hours a week or allday. They may help with personal care, shopping mobility or just keepa regular eye on someone. They may live with the person they carefor or visit. They will be unpaid, although they may be receivingbenefit.
